I experienced the most heart-warming thing yesterday, when I spent the day at my aunties and got a LOT of new old clothes to my closet! The thing is they're doing a clearance in their house and wardrobes since moving to town is happening next year. I even got more excited, when many of the items are truly trend pieces that you see in stores and even on catwalks at the moment. If I were to go to fashion week this year, as a visitor of course, I would definitely wear this sweater! Since fashion is so competitive at the moment, street style photographers and all other street peepers are looking for originality, that's for sure. Adding some interesting vintage to your outfits will definitely make you stand out in a good way!

This kind of sweater can be found at least at Malene Birger, for the price of 269€, and this actually came across my mind when I first saw this gorgeous leo patterned sweater. This also speaks of the value of real vintage these days - fashion is repeating itself and people are ready to pay a lot of these items today! I just love this sweater, such an exclusive and up-to-date garment with real retro vibes! Vintage treasures, if you want to put it that way. Overall, I think one important factor to really be creative and have fun with fashion is to add vintage to it.

Eilen koin jotain hyvin antoisaa ja sydäntälämmittävää! Kävin tädilläni kun heillä on siellä menossa vaatekaappien karsimisprosessit, heidän ensi vuonna koittavaa muuttoa silmällä pitäen. Ja tämähän oli  minulle, retrovaatteiden nimeen vannovalle kuin jouluaatto konsanaan! Nyt kun kurkkaan tähän suomen vaatekaappiini, näen kirkkaasti miten hyvin retrovaatteet ottavat kohta kiinni 'uudet' vaatteet määrältään.

Olen tosi innoissani siitäkin, että nämä vintagevaatteet jotka sain omakseni ovat hyvin paljon sentyylisiä kuin näkyy nyt liikkeissä ja verkkokaupoissa ja jopa catwalkeilla (tämä samantyylinen neule löytyi suunnittelijaluomuksena Malene Birgeriltä, tuli heti mieleen kun tämän mun tulevan leon näin eilen ekaa kertaa). Mielestäni lisäämällä hieman retroa asuusi saat siitä kertaheitolla paljon mielenkiintoisemman! Jos nyt tänä syksynä olisin muotiviikoilla vierailijana, pukeutuisin ilman muuta tähän neuleeseen. Katumuotikuvaajien mielestä juuri omaperäisyys on tärkeintä muodissa - tämä on niin kilpailuhenkinen ala että ihan tavalliset eivät erotu edukseen! Saa aina mielellään vähän tai paljonkin ampua yli.

Muita juttuja joita sain kotiin vietäväksi, tosiaan tuntui ihan jouluaatolta mikä ei ole paha laisinkaan kun nyt eletään vasta syyskuun alkua! En malta odottaa, että pääsen esittelemään muita joukossa olevia vaatekappaleita..

PS. Kirjoitan nykyisin tekstit ekana englanniksi, se tuntuu luontevammalta mutta ilman muuta aina käännän ne myös suomeksi:)
